Dead like a stone- Poem by Sarvajeet

I call you and yearn for you
You pretend to be dead, like a stone

But I will cling to you
I will hide in the collyrium of your eyes

Be the sparkle in your nose-bud stone
Be the music in the song you sing

And even when you throw away my memory
Give yourself to someone, from brow to toe

You will feel me as lush rain
downpour from a meandering monsoon cloud

You will smell me as a flower
by the river, where you fetch water

I will come in your dreams every night
your breasts will burn, from a hug so tight

I call you and yearn for you
You pretend to be dead, like a stone
